AG Enterprises and Technologies (OPC) Pvt. Ltd. ("we", "us", "our") is a company registered in India. We provide an AI-powered messaging assistant that businesses use on WhatsApp to answer customer questions, book appointments, and keep a simple record of their customers. This policy explains what personal data we handle, why, and what choices you have.

When you message a business that uses our assistant, that business decides why your data is collected and how it is used. We process your data on the business's behalf to run the service. For data we collect about the businesses that subscribe to our service (such as owner names, email addresses and account details), we act on our own account.

From people who message a business through our assistant:

• Your WhatsApp phone number and WhatsApp profile name

• The content of your messages and the replies sent to you

• Details you share to book an appointment, such as your name, preferred date and time, the service you want, and your email address if you choose to give it

• Appointment records created from your booking

• Basic technical data such as message timestamps and delivery status

From businesses that subscribe to our service:

• Owner and staff names, contact details, and business information

• Calendar access details needed to check availability and create appointments

• The knowledge base content the business uploads, such as services, prices, hours and policies

• Usage and billing information

We do not ask for sensitive information such as payment card numbers, government ID numbers, passwords, or health details. Please do not send these in chat.

• To receive your messages and send replies on behalf of the business

• To answer your questions using the business's own information

• To check availability and create, confirm or change appointments

• To keep a customer record for the business, so it can follow up on your request

• To alert the business owner when a human needs to respond

• To keep the service secure, prevent abuse, fix errors and improve reliability

• To meet legal obligations

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your messages to advertise to you.

We share data only with the parties needed to run the service:

• The business you contacted, which can see your messages, contact record and appointments

• Meta (WhatsApp Business Platform), which carries your messages. Meta's own privacy policy applies to data it handles

• AI language model provider (Google (Gemini) or OpenAI), which receives your message text and relevant business information in order to generate replies

• Google, to read availability and create appointments in the business's Google Calendar

• Hosting, database and email service providers (Supabase (database), Vercel (application hosting) and Google (Gmail SMTP) (email delivery)), which store and transmit data for us

• Authorities, where the law requires us to disclose data

These providers may process data on servers outside India. We choose providers that apply appropriate security protections.

Replies in this chat are generated by an AI system. It may occasionally be wrong, so please confirm important details such as prices and appointment times with the business directly. You can ask at any time to speak to a person.

We keep chat message content for up to 12 months, contact records for as long as the business uses our service and for 12 months afterwards, and server logs and backups for up to 90 days, unless the business or you ask us to delete them sooner or the law requires us to keep them longer. Appointment records follow the business's own retention needs. When data is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous.

We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections, restricted access to stored data, separation between businesses' records, and secure storage of access credentials. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your data, we will notify the affected parties and authorities as required by law.

Subject to applicable law, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may:

• Ask what personal data we hold about you

• Ask us to correct inaccurate data

• Ask us to delete your data

• Withdraw your consent to our processing

• Raise a grievance about how your data is handled

To exercise any of these rights, email contact.agbusinesssolutions@gmail.com from, or mentioning, the WhatsApp number or email address involved. We may need to confirm that the request comes from you. We aim to respond within 30 days.

To have your data deleted, email contact.agbusinesssolutions@gmail.com with the subject line "Data deletion request" and include the WhatsApp phone number used. We will delete the messages, contact record and appointment details we hold for that number, and confirm once done. Some information may be kept where the law requires it. You can also ask the business you contacted to submit the request for you.

Our service is not meant for children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has provided data through our assistant, please contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available at this page, with the date of the last update shown at the top. If a change is significant, we will take reasonable steps to let businesses using our service know.
